In my graduate level public engagement course. Our semester long project was to create a submission for the Alan Alda Flame Challenge. This challenge focuses on explaining some science topic to an 11-year old. You could either submit a written piece, a drawing, or a video. I choose to do somthing a little different and create a video with an online animation tool called animaker. I have never worked with annimation so I thought it would be fun and different. The topic for the competition was to explain "What is Climate?". The video that I created and submitted can be seen here. After the submission, we created another version but for the general public. We pooled all of our work togethter and created a class website called Science is Everything to present our work. The link for the website can be found here.
